I'm new to this site and was wondering how good the security is? Clicking on links is what I'm referring to.

So use common sense is the answer to security here? I try to use common sense all of the time but the world we live in now will eat your lunch if you blink twice and common sense doesn't cover every pothole in the street so to speak. BTW, this is not an angry reply.

Links in articles are very likely safe, same for ads. User posted links are carefully moderated, but could be riskier.

As stated earlier, if you practice good cyber hygiene practices, you'll be fine.
