Solved! Sharp 4K Roku TV & MXQ Pro Box

Hi all,

I have a new Sharp 55" 4K Roku TV and a new MXQ Pro box which I'm looking to use with it.

I have it connected via HDMI and I am getting picture but no audio. I have tried this on 2 different MXQ Pro boxes and neither work.

Has anyone a solution? I tried using all 3 HDMI ports.

Do other sources have audio when connected with HDMI?
Check the audio setting on the MXQ boxes. Maybe the default isn't audio via HDMI. Maybe you need to change the audio output type in that same menu.
I would also try a different HDMI cable although I doubt this is the problem.
