Should I buy a laptop now or wait for more 10 series laptops?

I'm in the market for a new laptop that I can use for casual gaming while I'm away from my desktop at home (I travel a lot) I've been searching around for laptops, and the Lenovo ideapad Y700 seems to be right up my alley. I was about to buy it, when my friend told me it would be a good idea to wait for more laptops with gtx 10 series graphics cards to come out, and said they would be more worth my money. So, should I buy the Y700 for 1000€ now or should I wait (the max amount of time I'm willing to wait is 5 months and max amount of money I'm willing to spend is 1500€)

I read the other day that we will soon be getting laptops with the NVidia GTX 1050 series GPU's. These should be cheap and offer much better performance then say the older 960m which is common now.

The model I was looking at was March, but thats not to say another brand won't release a laptop with a 1050 sooner. CES is in a few days, we will learn more then.
