should i sell my gaming laptop for a desktop?

i am wondering whether i should sell my msi ge72 2qd apache pro laptop and build a tower pc. the laptop is pretty special to me as it is my first gaming computer but its a few years old and running into some issues. i do hand a 1tb ssd installed because disk was constantly at 100% and i dont know if i sell my laptop should i keep the ssd in or add it to my new rig? i would much rather keep my laptop alongside a pc but i have been saving for a year and a half and i just bought something for around $500 setting me back most of the way. i am stumped what i should do.

This is totally up to you. If you want to keep the laptop then an SSD and clean Windows setup is a good idea to try.
