should i trade my alienware 17 for this PC set? need some help

The PC specs are good. About 2 or 3 years old. It'll do games a hell of a lot better than your Dell/Alienware laptop.

I think you'd come out ahead in the swap. I'd ask for a trial period though. Just in case something's not working quite right.

The PC is worth much more, even if it is a bit old it was a very high end computer in it's time. Except for the RAM, you will need more RAM.

As i7 said, ask for a trial period so you can see how the system runs. You don't want it failing after you get it.

Gtx 670 vs gtx 770
Ssd and sshd vs hdd and ssd
I dont think pc can beat that alienware.. Especially in ram .. Games these days need around 8gb

Who said it had an 670? It has a 690. That is a dual GPU's on one board. I am pretty sure it is about the same as a 770, if not better. 4 gigs of ram can be upgraded to 16 if he wants.
