shut down problem

I think some internal process goes on even after i shut down my dell laptop with win 10 os.
my battery drains when i restart after shut down.

You can try the suggestions given in this thread.

As given there, you may want to uninstall the Intel Management Engine Interface and see if the problem is solved.
