Question Simple RAM question

Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my laptop however not every RAM is compatible with my device so how can I find what type or specification in RAM is compatible with my laptop?

My laptop is Asus K550L
I can't find any information anywhere on it.

Simple . First U need to know if ur laptop's system is ddr3 or ddr4 . And then you can buy SODIMM ram , most laptop uses sodimm ram , so go buy ur laptop sodimm ram

I believe it's ddr3l, so that's what matter and nothing else.
I found a good one from Crucial 8Gb SODIMM 1600 but wasn't sure So thank you, now I can order it and not worry that it might be not compatible.
I found two that has one difference in speed.
1600 and 1833.
Both are DDR3L , I can choose either one right?
