I've been searching about VR SLI for a while. There's a development of Nvidia API and stuff. I understand that it's up to the application developers to have multi-gpu rendering or not (please correct me if im wrong.) But If so, will my SLI build be able to handles Oculus Rift and at least 1/3 of its games?
I have gtx 960 4GB SSC (3966) and 960 4GB FTW (3968).
Here is my build

Im very noob about these stuff.
Thank you :D

Yes ! I'm hype about 1070 and 1080. Their prices are crazily cheap. But I have my 960 both less than a year, it would be a waste to throw away. Guess i have to bet on 2x 960 with Oculus for now. Thx!

From what I've read SLI and Crossfire rigs are not good options for VR. It seems to be a driver or API issue. I don't know the details fully, but I would double check that SLI and your cards in particular will run VR properly.

Have you considered selling the cards used? There is usually a market for that.
