Smartphone wont ring

My smartphone only vibrates. I have turned on the sound and increased the volume but it still vibrates only

You may have a app that is controlling master volume on your phone, or your speaker busted.
Did you try rebooting or factory reseting?

did you select a ringtone? make sure you do that.

agree, it could be another app controlling the speakerphone volume or a busted speaker. does speakerphone work during calls?

I have done everything factory" reset I still get no sound just vibrate, I have a government ZTE smartphone adroid assurance wireless can u help me?

Hi,

What indication do you get when you call the number of the phone from another phone?

Have you set the phone to "silent" or mute"?

Have you checked the ringtone Volume level?

Can you make an o/g call OK?

Have you checked that you are not in airplane mode?

Have you proved that the loudspeaker works by playing music? (This speaker is the one used for the ringtone)

Have you checked that you have selected a ringtone?

Switch off/one once or twice.

Also try go to Settings > Device > Sound > Phone Ringtone and select a different ringtone, do you hear the ringtone there?

Or finally It could be a software/App issue and a hard/factory reset may be what is needed. You can select your ZTE Phone model from the link below for instruction to hard reset it. After trying everything on my phone that was doing the same thing, I have figured it out. Make sure when you are done with your phone, close and clear all apps and hit the power button to sleep or lock. Don't need to shut it down. It has solved the problem for me.
