Hi everyone!

I have an graphic card that is currently causing artifact. The artifact is an horizontal line right in the middle of my laptop screen...

So this is an gaming laptop with two GPU, a nvidia 960m and an integrated Intel HD GPU. So I was wondering if its an GPU problem, can i fix the situation by switching from one card to another to fix the issue? In the device manager, I have tried going into display adapters to disable both GPU one by one to see if it would work, but it was to no avail. So I was wondering, if its an GPU issue, or some cables overheated and blew or sth?

I am really sure its not a screen issue as I have pressed the screen with significant pressure without any effect.

Please guys any suggestion!! Thank you

You can see the connections from the screen to the motherboard, re-seat those.

Thank You for the reply!

Would you be able to help me identify what is the component that I would need to look at on the motherboard if I post a picture of my laptop dissected?

May I know the specific connection or cables involved so that I could find solution for the aforementioned issue
