[Solved] Can\'t Remove AVAST

Avast has stopped working and I'm unable to fix it. Tried to remove the program but it won't allow that either. Self protected or something. How do I remove Avast so I can reinstall?

Assumig you have windows, go start-> control panel-> add or remove programs. Try uninstall it from there. You may also try download new avast installation from their site and when installing it will see that you have older version and maybe will remove it.
Actually, your avast could've been disabled by some virus, so download some portable antivirus and scan your PC/laptop with it (like Dr.Web or Avz4)
