some keys in my acer aspire 5750z are not working

some keys in my acer aspire 5750z are not working. What could be the cause and how to rectify it. Please suggest me the solution. Thanks in advance.

Try reseating the keyboard, see if it works under an alternate operating system like with Linux. You can make a live boot disk for Linux to test it without having to install anything on the laptop. If that also does the same thing, replace the keyboard.
