Then this is obviously not the monitor for you then, or anyone who wants to sit on the couch. Yes, 27" isn't that much bigger that 24", but you can obviously tell that Sony intended this monitor/TV for people who want to sit at a desk and only be a foot or 2 away from it.
They also are selling this is a "Monitor" it seems, so doubt there is a "Over the Air" tuner in it, or a coaxial connection.
