There is a world of difference between what GeoHot did (reverse engineer a consumer device and put the info in the consumers hands where it belongs) versus what hack groups have been doing lately particularly to game companies (stealing personal info)

I find it odd that Facebook (a online social network giant) would hire a video game console hacker, GeoHot. Facebook doesn't do console gaming, or does it?
The only reasonable explanation is that Facebook is secretly planning some sort of gaming console and wants Hotz to make it hacker proof.

anyone see where im going with this?

Instead of rewarding this nutsack they should give him a beating and 10 in the pen.
