Sony TV has issues

My TV is working and Is on but goes black with no picture or sound then goes back on again how can I fix it

I assume you have attempted to switch its various inputs and same thing happens?

Are you saying something appear briefly then poof black?

1. Yank power plug from wall for 1 hour, see if that helps.
2. Attempt to reset TV to factory setting.

After this, new TV.
