Sound audio device undetected

For some reason my DELL Computer audio device either went out or my repair man deleted from the motherboard. Do anyone out here now a web site that will detect this problem and fix it. Or do i have to download a new sound device from a purchased cd.

Few quick things to check. The repair man may have turned the audio chipset off in the bios. Most bios there settings in the onboard devices.
If the mb was replaced or he reinstalled windows and forgot the drivers.
Go to dell under home user go to downloads and enter your dell pc service I'd. You then be told what hardware was in your system. You also be able for free download drivers for your pc.
