hello my toshiba laptop m70-267 does not have sound may you please help

Could you give us any more specifics about what happened before/after the sound stopped?

Looking it up, it looks like this is a Centrino with WinXP correct? Any other system specs you could tell us?

Go to "Device Manager" and give us a list of the items listed under "Sound, Video, and game controllers" so we know more about if the sound card is installed correctly.
