Sound of my headphones is really bad

So I got these new steel series siberia 100 headphones and for some reason whenever I plug them in to my lenovo y50-70 laptop the sound becomes really weird. If I am listening to song background music plays loud and the vocals are nearly non-exsisting. I have tried to plug them in to my phone and my friends laptop and it works just perfecly fine so that means that the problem is in my laptop. I have tried to disable sound enhancements and effects (or I guess dolby in my case) and it does nothing. I have tried to reinstall the drivers for my headphones without any sucess too. Maybe you know anything that I could try out that could be the case.

Is the jack definitely fully inserted?

Yes, it should be pluged just fine and it is the first time I face a problem like that I had many headsets and none of them done something like that.
I kinda solved it by pulling it back a bit since it has 3 curves (it got uses same port for mic and headphones) but it doesnt feel like a good solution maybe someone knows how to deal with it so i can plug them as normal
