Soundbar to televison

I have a LG television and a bellodigital soundbar. Need help connecting the soundbar to the television. I have a hdmi card tried it and makes noises.

What outputs does your TV have and what inputs does your sound bar have? Ideally you want to use a digital link

The most likely connection will be the TV toslink optical audio out to the optical input on the Bello. You may need to change the audio output type in the TV audio menu to get sound.
