just bought klipsch quintet 5.1 speakers and yamaha rxv481 receiver. I believe the speakers are 8omh and the receiver is 6omh, do you think this will cause a problem?

What can or should i set things to, to get the best out of both?

Solution
I also have the RX-V481

The manual states on page 14

(U.S.A. and Canada models only)
Under its default settings, the unit is configured for 8-ohm speakers. When connecting 6-ohm speakers, set the unit's speaker impedance to "6 ohm MIN". For details, see "Setting the speaker impedance" (p.17).

Solution
It's always safe to go higher in speaker impedance. You just get less power.
If you go lower then you might cause the receiver to overheat, go into protection, blow a fuse, or blow up.
