You need the ISO certified oxygen free, copper coated aluminum, beryllium clad connector, single strand, see-through insulation cable.
And they must be exactly the same length for each speaker. 2mm difference either way introduced unwanted feedback and echoes.
The lowest price I've found is an obscure manufacturer in Tibet (the thin air helps with the 'O2 free' requirement). $280/ft, but you have to go pick it up.

No, seriously. Any speaker wire will work. Just not too thin.
