Hello everyone, I have a a tv with a build in amplifier that i hooked up some speakers to. It allows me to output pc audio while running a vga output. When i connect the my desktop or laptop to the tv, there is a small but bearable amount of crackling or popping. However, when I connect my laptop, the speakers output A LOT of static which actually overpowers sounds at low volume. I have tried rca outputs and even running audio from my laptop through my desktop to the tv. I don't know what the issue is. When i connect headsets to the laptop it sounds perfect so it's not some sort of grounding issue. I just don't know how to solve this. Any help at all is appreciated. Thank you.

try sound properties/ speaker properties and turn the freq down to cd or dvd and turn enhancements off.

have u tried another audio device hooked up to your tv?

I have tried your suggestion, there was no change. I have a 3.5mm in and a rca l&r, as well as my desktops vga cable hooked up to the tv.
