Speakers stop working?

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my system. I plug in ANY speakers to the front or back of my computer and it works fine for while but then it just stops working randomly, so I have to keep unplugging them and plugging them back in. Any thoughts on why this is happening? I have tried multiple speakers and even head phones.

is not a speaker issue if different speakers do same thing. does headphones do the same? make & model# of computer or motherboard?
