Speakers under £100-120 for movies/gaming

Hello everyone,

I need a new set of speakers, priced under £100(150 USD). I mainly use my pc for movies/general day-to-day work, but I play around 10 hours per week games, usually strategy(like sc2) or RPG's . I can buy those shops from any retail store in the uk, or from amazon.co.uk

For 150 usd, the klipsch promedia 2.1 are way too expensive in the UK(more than £150) . I have been looking on Logitech z323 and Logitech z523, but I am really clueless on the right choice .

Could anyone please help me out?

Are you looking strictly at 2.1 speakers? If yes, the Edifier M3300SF is actually a fantastic option, and you'll come out way under budget after paying for it, it has better specs than the Logitech z523 - though if you are a brand sheep, then I'd go with the z523.

Hello,

Why do you say "strictly" ? My place isn't ideal for 5.1 speakers, and I really dont want to start piercing my walls to install them.

With this in mind, my options are 2.1 OR 2.0 . Do you think it is better to get 2.0 for that price?

If used is ok i really suggest scanning Gumtree UK as more often then not, a gem of a bargain is floating around waiting to be snapped up
