Speakers with red/white connections

I just bought some speakers with analog audio inputs and i was wondering how i would go about controlling the audio when i had them plugged in my cable box? Thanks.

You don't.

Your cable box doesn't have an amplifier built into it to push a set of speakers and it doesn't sound like your speakers do either.

Plug the speakers into the audio output on your TV, if necessary use an adapter.
