Question Splitter problem

I have an earphone and I want to use its microphone and speakers to my PC. The microphone works with the splitter plug in but I can only hear from the right side of my earphone and there are hissing noise whenever I try to use the microphone.

Did you get a splitter or a 4 pole to dual 3 pole adapter, there is a difference. List the product you have. Make sure everything is connected tightly.

Looks like the right thing to get, could simply be bad or the connection is not tight.
