its actually 5 gigs, i hit it every month on my pre, it is noticably slower after 5 gigs durring peak hours but still fast late evebnings and mornings.

to earlier posts abotu bad signal I've literally never been out of signal with my palm pre. I've been in the UP of michigan far off the beaten path along lake superior and still had signal. I live in florida and same can be said for when I'm out on a river or a few miles out in the guld I still get signal. this was nto the case when it was nextel ... but then i switched to verizon which was better than nextel and swapped back to sprint after verizon not having signal in the UP where i go sometimes on vacation... i was happy with the switch and spritn really doesn't care if you jailbreak your phoen and tether... hell the sprint rep at the store was directing people in the store on release date to a site where you could make thehering work for free
