Its better than 20c per text that the major carriers charge for contract lines if you don't have a text plan.

Yeah, it sounds like you spend $20 for 30 days of service (and a maximum of 324 minutes). They get their $20 no matter what. And since we know price-per-minute charges are all scams anyway, in the end it doesn't matter if you get an extra 100 minutes with rounded down calls, they still got their $20.

$20 for a month of cell service is still bloody cheap.
 
You can plunk down a Wal-Mart in the middle of the nicest area of town, and yet somehow it will still manage to attract nothing but inbred rednecks. I'm sure they'll love being able to buy a new-fangled fancy Sprint phone at the same place they buy their flip-flops and NASCAR t-shirts.
