I have a home theater stereo (dennon avr 2307ci) and I want to upgrade my sub from a 10in (i have a nht sa2 amp for it) sub to a 12in powered sub can I use any sub since it is powered?

Also if you have any sub ideas my budget is $200 - $250

Solution
If you already are using a sub with the system, any sub of the same type (powered or non, with the same connections) can be used. If you want to swap from a non powered to a powered, take a look at the manual to your system on how you can connect things.

Klipsch makes nice subs https://www.klipsch.com/products/r-12sw

This KHL is good also https://www.crutchfield.com/p_405WND12B/KLH-Windsor-12.html?tp=187 although probably second pick.

A lot of the 12" subs are higher price, going to $300 and up.
