Kent is one of the husbands in Stardew Valley. He is married to Jodi and has two sons; Vincent and Sam. Vincent is one of the two children in Stardew Valley and Sam is one of the 12 characters in Stardew Valley that you can marry. Kent cannot be found in Stardew Valley in the first year as he is away fighting a war but he returns in the second year and that is when you meet him for the first time. In fact he comes to your farm and introduces himself as soon as the second year starts.
You don’t really know that Kent exists but there are mentions of him by Vincent as he writes about Kent and how he is coming home soon.
Kent’s Schedule:
Kent’s schedule does not change throughout the whole year and he is one of the few characters in Stardew Valley whose schedule does not change according to the season. He mostly stays at home but he does go out for a drink in the Stardrop Saloon on Saturday around 5:00 pm. You can also find him in Pierre’s store on Sunday at around 11:00 am. You can usually find him praying there or looking at all the stuff that is on sale.
Kent’s Gift Guide:
There are a bunch of gifts that you can give to Kent which will make him happy and raise your friendship level with him. You should give him Fiddlehead Risotto, Roasted Hazelnut, Crispy Bass, Pale Ale, Beer, Prismatic Shard, all Eggs except the Void Egg, Fruits, Cheese Cauliflower, Daffodil, Mayo, Melon, Omelet, Parsnip, Blackberry, Sweet Pea and any Universal Love or Like. You should not give him Snow Yam, Tortilla, Quartz, Algae Soup, Sashimi, Holly as well as any Universal Hates or Dislikes.
Kent’s Quests:
Kent has one known quest up till now which is titled ‘A Soldier’s Star’. He gives you this quest on the 15th of the second summer and if you complete it you will get 1 friendship heart with him as well as 500 gold.
He can also ask for stuff on the notice Board in front of Pierre’s shop and delivering that item to him will earn you thrice the amount of the product as well as 150 friendship points with him.
Kent’s Heart Events:
There are 3 events which occur when you build up your friendship with Kent. The 3 events occur at 3, 5 and 7 hearts respectively. At 3 he will send you a recipe for Crispy Bass, at 5 he will give you Cherry Bombs and at 7 he will send you another recipe, this time for a Super Meal.
Kent is the only person who comes in to Stardew Valley after you arrive and his character reflects the horrors of war he faced because he is always reserved and does not socialize well.
