What I'm looking to do, specifically, is take my Android phone's screen and stream over WiFi to my Computer screen. I can already use my TV as a monitor (rather easy to do), so the plan is to lie in bed, and use my phone to select shows then watch them on my TV. As of right now, the HTC Media Link HD is capable of doing this sans the pc, but I don't have the funds to obtain one, plus it doesn't seem to work with Hulu based on reviews and I'm planning to primarily use it for Netflix.
Does anyone know of a program/app that'll do this? The main thing is somehow getting Netflix to stream from my android HTC One to my HDTV, a completely software related solution to this problem is preferred, otherwise I might just get chromecast or see if they are working on solutions for the HTC Media Link
