If you have apps on the blueray that let you call up Netflix, Hulu etc. YEAH.

These days boxes like blueray all have a little computer in them, it just depends how much you are planning to do.

Even if your Blu-ray player doesn't have smart TV functionality, you can buy a Roku or Fire TV or Chromecast or Apple TV and plug that into an extra HDMI port on your TV. Those are just small computers which have apps for streaming from the major services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. In my experience they're faster than the ones built into Blu-ray players as well.
