Stuck CD i my HP laptop

I put a cd in my HP laptop but did nit get it snapped down when I opened the disv holder it was gone. How do I get it out? Please help, thanks

Weird, but I suppose it may have been pushed inside the laptop. I didn't know that was possible. You'd have to partially disassemble the laptop to get at it. Kind of obvious I would think.

Hi, depending of your model of HP, almost all of the optical drives can be remove with just a screw to unscrew. After removing, you can incline the drive to remove the CD inside.
