Stuck shift key

I have an MSI U180 notebook and the shift key is stuck. I am not an very experienced user.

Were I to have that problem, I'd take it into a shop. You could try partial disassembly and cleaning, but it's risky.

Unless: Did you press the shift key repeatedly and get some weird message box? After a few presses, it offers to activate an "Acessibility" feature where shift locks and shift again unlocks. For handicapped people, or people missing a pinkie finger.
