I am looking to purchase a laptop with a $800-$1000 budget for use as a student.
A 17' 1080p non-touch display is preferred, but 15.6 would be an option. Built in webcam preferred. DVD RW.
Would like to be able to play games like LoL or Diablo 3 on medium settings, but nothing too intensive.
Portability isn't a huge concern, but a moderate battery life would be nice. At least 4 hours if possible.
Would like laptop to last at least 4 years. Looking for best value.
A reasonable extended warranty or accidental protection plan is desired, unless you guys would strongly advise against it.
