Stuff I should have

I just booted up a new OS.
I wanted to know the best antivirus antimalware and stuff like that I should have so as to not get tons of viruses and stuff.

Go to Ninite.com.

Select whichever applications you want/need. In the Security section, look at Avast, Avira, Malwarebytes, and Essentials.
Select others as needed.

You get a small exe. Run that, and let it go. It will download and install all the applications you've selected. Bonus: It automatically deselects any crapware (toolsbars, etc) that they may try to install.
