sub not working

my sub has worked with my old computer it con work with this one! i have the same old cord its a red and white to an aux jack i plug into my computer in the back labeled sub/center and when i use realtek hd audio manager and click on the subwoofer it displays a wall rocking, frame moving sound... its a 15" XD but it doesnt like playing any sound on chrome or explorer etc... its working but it doesnt when i play music on anything.

It seems you are connect to your speakers with the green audio jack so as far as your PC is concerned you are using a 2.0 system. If the audio manager is set for you to use the orange subwoofer out it is sending all the bass to that connection which you are not using.

what do you suggest i do? my sub is in the orange and the sound is all the way up i tried doing the sub connection into my out but still nothing
