Sub-woofer

Hello,
My speakers work but my sub-woofer is all muffled when I test speakers on laptop, it only tests the two small speakers; not the sub-woofer

The laptop has 2 channel audio. It does not have a subwoofer channel.
It cannot test the sub separately.
