Solved! Subtitles don’t work on Amazon prime on Vizio tv

Need to set subtitles to work on amazon prime on my Vizio tv

Option one: Buy a dedicated streamer (Roku, Amazon Stick) which works with subtitles.
Option two: Check with Vizio whether they plan to update their app (they won't).
