Supports All Streaming applications

I’m looking for a streaming device, like Apple TV, that is compatible with all apps, channels, etc. Right now The Golf channel only supports Apple TV, while Sling TV only supports Chromecast and Roku. I want a streaming device that supports everything. TV apps, Sling, etc. is there such a device?

That would be nice, wouldn't it?

Capitalism impede that. i.e.: Apple have exclusive contract with certain channels etc.

But look man, these streaming boxes are not that expensive, when gamers spend usd$thousants "playing games." Buy one Apple, buy one Roku then you got everything. Simple!

I love my ATV3, it can be had for cheaps am sure since everybody want to upgrade.

Just one thing, Apple introduced App Store for ATV4 and now ATV4-4K, this opens up to other possibilities beyond video watching. I just got myself an ATV4-4K because I want to use a Bike Trainer App on it, it interfaces with my smart trainer, so while am pedaling, it shows a virtual reality video on screen and it follows me by how hard am spinning, very nifty, can race against others etc. But if video watching @1080 is all u need, ATV3 good buy.

Gen4 is the best, plus, there is more support, like now you can watch your AMAZON PRIME stuff on 4th gen Apple TV. love it. almost all channels are available like HBO, SHO, HULU, Netflix, you name it. Now by adding Prime, I have no use for my Roku, which is by far and away, less nice a streamer.
