[citation][nom]_mrvtcng_[/nom]Well, youth also exposed to the negative impact of the internet. I want to ask you guys who live in US or other western countries whether porns and adultery are the things that common for the youth?[/citation]

Porn and adultery have always been pretty common in the 20th and 21st century. Adultery was always just under-reported in the past and porn was a "dirty little secret". I'd rather neither be a "dirty little secret" and make sure kids growing up are educated about both. Educated does not equal exposed or encouraged, either.

[citation][nom]AdamB5000[/nom]In a life or death situation, I bet 99% of the population could live without the internet.[/citation]

I would vote more toward 100% of the population could live without the internet. Just as the previous generation could live without television and radio and phones. These things are called "creature comforts" not a life necessity.

When you start looking at the great achievements in bettering human life (plumbing, sanatation, heating, etc) these are the things that truly have the ability to alter a person's lifespan...not the fucking internet.

The obsession society has with the internet is sickening. It's an addiction that is no different than an addiction to drugs or alcohol. Instead of being a chemical addiction its a mental addiction.

Some moron cannot deal with reality so he becomes homeless to play WoW. Some retard cannot deal with broken internet connection so he stabs a girl. This type of behavior is becoming common for our lives. This idea that we cannot live without the stupid internet is only going to cause more and more of these issues.

uhm, teens most vulnerable to phishing scams? I'm pretty sure the people who have fallen victim to the nigerian email scams are old people who live in Canada.

So ahhhh... if the internet were to be shut off (by whatever means) folks would be dropping dead left and right???

Stupid and useless survey up there with I can't live without my designer shoes, etc.

How can I live without warm, windy nights walking on the beach.

How can I live without singing in the rain.

How can I ??? How can I???

"How can I live without you"

Yes because I can't go on a camping trip for vacation and survive the week without one more twitter update about what I ate for breakfast /sarcasm

You read it backwards. They said those who are middle aged are most vulnerable and that teens and 20 somethings have generally grown up with it and know what they are doing
