Tab 4 screen won't work

My Tab 4 won't turn on. I've tried everything. The screen slightly becomes lighter around the edges. Is my screen broken? Or is it something I can fix myself?

Hi,

The problem could be an interfering screen protector. Try removing your screen protector or device case and see if the touch screen will work then. Also try to charged your device for exactly 30 minutes then unplug it, then charge it back for 8hrs.. Device should turn after doing those steps. Let me know if this worked for you. Thanks!
