So we take a game that draws themes from Ayn Rand novels and then turn that into a book. That strikes me a kinda funny, in a full circle way.

The Halo books that were canon and actually filled in some of the storyline gaps were not too bad.

The Bioshock story has way more potential than Halo's does, so hopefully we'll be in for a decent read.

I agree with the Lady Slayer. I only read the first Halo book but it was pretty good. The Bioshock storyline interests me so I might pick this one up.

If *any* game backstory deserves elaboration, BioShock's backstory does. The games starts after all the interesting stuff has already happened. How did Rapture get in the state we find it at the beginning of the game? I would think there is more than one book in that background alone.

And I would expect that books based on BioShock 2 are already in someone's thoughts, if not already in someone's business plans.
