[citation][nom]Marco925[/nom]You sound like the alleged bill gates comment that 640K should be enough for everyone. Eventually phones will need 2GB of RAM..[/citation]
Actually, I think phones will eventually need about 8 GB of RAM if they end up being used as I foresee them...as basically something that can run Crysis...well...and much much more through a docking station and take the place of a Desktop PC. But, probably not until they are able to cram the equivalent of a Core i7 3770k and GTX 680 into a Smart Phone. You think the battery life in the DROID RAZR MAXX is great, now...just wait for that. Speaking of, the battery life in the Samsung Galaxy S III looks pathetic in comparison. I wish Toms had done a comparison between the two.

Extended batteries are awesome. I bought one for my older HTC Evo 4G off of Amazon for a few dollars USD (shipping was almost more expensive than the battery itself) and it'll last a full day and a few hours of heavy usage without even running out or up to almost a week of light usage. I don't know how long it can last while not seeing much usage, but still being on. The SIII almost definitely has an extended battery of sorts.

Good news for people that are fed up with Apple's recent crusade against Android phones by means of claiming the patent for universal search: there is a way to circumvent it

To be honest, if Windows 7 can run comfortably with 2GB ram and XP with 512MB, i kind of feel that a cut down mobile OS is bloated to need that much.

@JOSHSKORN

phones might need more memory, but they wont need GTX 680 power. you are just retarded for thinking a screen less then 10" needs should get a GTX 680. Perhaps in the tablet market eventualy, but on a phone... that will be delayed easily another 30+ years. Hardcore gaming is not successfull on phones, due to wide variety of handsets, and in apple's case.. limitations.

it sounds nice to have, but its just a stupid wish, with no thought put into it.

if i can put a 680 on a 4.8" screen... il run unreal engine 6 without problems....

[citation][nom]gameover1993[/nom]if apple make something not unique they will lose the marketing[/citation]

Not true at all. They do that often, but they never lose marketing. That's the difference between a user base and a fan base.
