tascam 2488 date/time

When I dump data backups to my laptop (USB) they all have sept 2008 dates and time of 1:00. How do I set time/date on the 2488?

Are you talking about the date on the files names or the date they show as updated on the computer?

The former would have to be changed on whatever device you are getting them from. The latter would mean the date information is wrong on your computer.

The date as they show up on the laptop, but the laptop clock is totally fine with all other apps and OS. I believe they're coming from the 2488 FAT with those dates.
