Hi all,
I stupidly bought a amplifier (a Technics SU-V550) on eBay without looking at reviews first, because I liked the look of it. When it arrived I googled it. The only two mentions of it I could find said it wasn't very good.
The main thing I'm using it for is to record vinyl and tapes to my computer. I have a Onkyo TA 2750 Tape Deck and a Technics SL-D3 record player.
The four things I want to know are:
1) Can I plug the amp into my computer using the 'RECOUT TAPE2/EXT' or the 'RECOUT TAPE1/DAT'?
2) Does anyone here have any experience of the Technics SU-V550 amp?
3) Will using the SU-V550 lower the quality of my recording?
4) I've seen a 'Cambridge Audio A1 V3.0 MK2' for sale. Would that be better for what I want?
Thank you!
