Hi
I need some help in the hooking up my father’s Technics Home Stereo System. Its Pre-1988 so basically before I was born .
The following are the components:
• Technics Equalizer SH-8046
• Technics Stereo Integrated Amplifier SU-8
• Technics Stereo Cassette Deck RS-8R
• Technics FM/MW/LW Stereo Tuner ST-8L

I wish to connect them together and then connect the equalizer and speakers to Samsung UN50F6300 50" Class 6300 Series 1080p LED Smart TV.

Have tried using the AV/Video ins and outs but it’s not working would be grateful for any help. Thanks

What all is connected right now and what's connected to what....
Leave the Samsung out of the picture right now (For the time being)
And is the final output working the way you want it to or are there problems???

If you'd like to start at the very beginning then it goes like this....

Top to bottom:
First - Tuner Line OUT to AMP Tuner Line IN

Second - Tape Deck Line OUT to AMP AUX/CD/VIDEO Line IN

Third - EQ Line OUT (NOT EQ TAPE PLAYBACK OR REC OUT) to AMP Playback Tape
- EQ Line IN to AMP Rec Out Tape

Now to get this setup functioning you will need to have the Line Monitor on the EQ ON Source and not Tape....
Irrelevant of what source you choose in the AMP, the sound is going to pass through the EQ and be played...

And if you want another source to be connected you can plug it into the EQ Tape Playback forgetting the REC OUT on the EQ Tape connectors...... the only difference will be that from Line Monitor Source, you'll need to switch to Tape for the Peripheral connected into the EQ Tape Playback port.

I will try to get some up when i go back and set them up - could be some time though but will post them for sure no issues
