Text Message Receipts

How can I turn OFF and ON message receipts so the text message sender does not get a message delivery success?

open sms > menu > settings > turn off delivery confirmation

really... you couldnt figure that out on your own?

No such option in Nokia E71. Any other ideas?

symbian os..... i've never dealt with that one.

you would have to find out where your sms settings are and turn off confirmation.

i cant tell you the exact steps as i've never done it on such a device.

i was wrongly assuming an android device. the actual setting of "turn off confirmation" should be similar across all platforms though.
