Text messages in dat file format

Hello, i have a back up of all my mobile text messages in .dat file format...how to convert it into readable word file???

hiii...very good morning.yes i tried and i converted .dat file to word file

but the problem is " .dat file is the text messages in my mobile...i have just downloaded to my mail through android applications". The file contains all my texts but with some unknown symbols inbetween. it is really confusing and unclear to read. Please help
