hello everyone

i am looking forward to buy a new laptop

my budget is 3000 usd to 6000 usd .

i absolutely dont want to spend 1$ more than 3000$ but will definitely end up spending 6000 usd too if its a fabulous deal.

i tried gooling a lot. but there are lot of variations

my current options i know about

alienware 17 r3
asus g752 rog

i recently discovered MSI GT80s and fell in love with the specs but was heartbroken to see its design . its completely not suitable for me because im left handed.

please suggest. thanks

Among these, I would suggest the ASUS over the Alienware. While the Alienware has a better GPU to choose from(there are 3 options to choose), it runs quite hot when gaming, you can't even place it on your lap. Even the keys are pretty hot and will present some discomfort.

I also recommend checking out the MSI GT72 Dominator Pro Dragon Edition(~$3100). This thing is badass. It features the desktop version of the GTX 980 but has mediocre battery life(<3hrs). The ASUS also mediocre battery life(~3 hrs) but the Alienware has much better battery life(~6 hrs).
